Not everyone who reads my blog is going to be interested in this. Joe Pelayo is a successful recruiter and recruiter trainer in the US. On Bill Vick's excellent Xtreme Recruiting Joe gives this interview on how he works in order to a big biller. He likes to follow a few techniques in regards to making calls that anyone who is in a business which requires a lot of cold calling and direct marketing might find useful.
I am curious as to how many conversations and/or calls someone might think is an optimum number a day. I read somewhere that Mike Ramer considers 30 conversations a day the minimum to stay on top of business. I averaged 27 conversations a day over the last week and that isn't too tough to be honest. I often wonder what other recruiters or sales pros think about this.
