Jobster have splashed out big bucks to buy Recruiting.com from Jason Davis and I have to say I am excited about it for a couple of reasons. First, Jason is a great guy and deserves any credit he gets and secondly it is a really interesting development for the Recruiting Blogosphere. A development that 12 months ago I don't believe any of us would have thought possible. So well done Jason and well done Jobster! The future seems to get more and more interesting every day!

Steven - what do you consider big bucks?
I don't think jobster paid more than US$ 250K for recruiting.com, what do you think?

My assessment is that they bought Recruiting.com for the domain (URL) more so than the content.

I think I can agree with that Go. But at the same time I think they also like the fact that there is a content base to the URL already. And that the content base is focused on their user group - Recruiters. They don't actually have to think too hard about what to do with the domain just yet although I know they will have some ideas.
Harmony, I think they paid at least twice that if not more.
